When Meera joined the NavLakshya Skill Program in March 2025, she had no formal coding background — but she did have a problem to solve. Her neighbourhood kirana store was losing customers to cash-only friction.

Over 12 weeks, she shipped a UPI-powered payments app with a printable QR code that any small store can stick on their counter. By her capstone demo day, three stores in her neighbourhood were already using it.

What we love about Meera's story: she didn't wait for permission. She picked a problem she could see, and built something people use every day.

Applications for the next Skill Program cohort are open. If you have a problem worth solving, we'd love to hear from you.
